| Well suited for gloved applications and light pressure typing, the "Grizzly Xtreme" is an elatomer keypad encased in an upper and lower powder-coated die-cast aluminium housing. Waterproof, dustproof and chemical resistant, the housing features a gasket-sealed perimeter along with an area on the bottom for a gortex vent. Wear-proof legends are painted and laser etched with "rhino" coating for additional protection. LED backlit legends enable the "Grizzly Xtreme" to perform in low light environments giving a strong performance advantage. The single USB-cable with sealed strain relief provides a connection to both the keyboard buttons and FSR pointing device. An integrated 10-key numeric keypad adds to the utility. | In todays dental industry, Infection Control has become a necessity for the modern dental practice. Dental teams have a duty to ensure that infection control procedures are followed routinely. The mouth carries a large number of potentially infective micro organisms; saliva and blood are known vectors of infection. Computer keyboards are everywhere in dental facilities. The distribution agreement will allow APC contech access to launch a channel programme for the highly-programmable Electrone200 Jog Shuttle control pad for use in video editing environments. Resellers and integrators will be able to benefit from APC contech`s market expertise and ability to customise the Systems200`s programmable keypad to work with specific video editing software suites. | |
| The Electrone200`s two-line LCD display allows bi-directional communication and specific commands to be issued directly to the operator without interrupting what is displayed on the monitor. Complex tasks, such as queued shots during editing and live to air action information, can be displayed using the built in display. The Electrone200 Jog Shuttle is the first product that has come out of the proactive collaboration after several months of discussions. A number of other specialist peripherals, adapted specifically for the broadcasting and video editing market, have also been developed and are due to be launched over the next quarter. |
